Excessive proliferation of smooth muscle and fibroblasts is seen as the typical feature of all vascular remodelling processes in organs where these cells are the major building blocks of the fibrosing vessels. In the lung, the smooth muscle cells are maintained in an active state while in the aorta the myofibroblasts in the remodelled part have lost their contractile properties. The question of whether smooth muscle cells and myofibroblasts contribute equally to aortic fibrosis, remains unresolved. By use of immunocytochemical, histochemical and immunogold techniques we have identified two main types of fibrotic components in the aortic wall of patients with atherosclerosis: 1) collagen fibrils, surrounding proteoglycan cores, collagen type III fibres, and some spindle cells with processes (myofibroblasts) and 2) collagen type I fibrils, surrounding proteoglycan cores and collagen type I and III fibres. The collagenous fibrotic component cannot be ascribed to either of the two interrelated cell populations. Thus, whereas myofibroblasts continue to produce collagen type III and contribute to the formation of the major non-collagenous collagenous vascular matrix of the remodelled aortic wall, they do not form collagenous fibres, probably because these are too thin, and the earlier formed fibrotic component remains mainly as a non-collagenous extracellular matrix. In a recent “Ask Me Anything” (AMA) session on reddit, Oculus VR CEO Palmer Luckey made a revealing comment regarding the Tyros5 use Many voices of the voice set are compatible with Tyros5. For example all "comfort voices" or "mother" voices are compatible. It is of note that the voices in the Voice "Section" of the user interface of the Tyros5 are different from those in the Voices group. If you have voices in both sections, but want to use them in Tyros5, you have to duplicate them in the Voices group. See the voice set page for more details.
